Refunds, Returns & Course Policy

Welcome to Islashboutique.
We value transparency and fairness while also protecting the integrity of our courses, intellectual property, and products.
Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase or enrolling in a course.

1. Physical Product Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy for eligible products.

To qualify:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, email support@islashboutique.com before sending anything back.
Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Once your return is approved, we’ll issue instructions and a prepaid return label.
Returned items must be received in saleable condition.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 3 days if:

  • You receive the wrong item, or

  • The item arrives damaged or defective.

We cannot replace or refund items reported outside this period or items that have been opened or used.
Free gifts or promotional items cannot be replaced after 3 days from delivery.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened or used beauty products

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Perishable goods

  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids

  • Sale items or gift cards

4. Exchanges

If you need a different item, return the eligible product first.
Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order.

5. Refunds for Physical Goods

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.
If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to finalise the refund.

Course Enrolments & Refund Policy

Our courses include access to valuable intellectual property, professional-grade materials, and training resources.
Please review the following carefully before enrolling.

6. Non-Refundable Deposits

All course deposits are strictly non-refundable.
By paying your deposit, you acknowledge it secures your placement and covers administrative and preparation costs.

7. Access to Intellectual Property

When you enrol in an Islashboutique course (online or in-person), you are purchasing a licence to access proprietary education materials.
Once course materials, login details, or kits have been released or dispatched, no refunds will be issued.

Accessing course content — including viewing videos or downloads — constitutes full acceptance of this policy and voids eligibility for a refund, even if you decide not to complete the course.

8. Course Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel an in-person course up to two weeks before the scheduled start date for a refund of any payments made beyond the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within two weeks of the start date are not refundable.

  • Online courses become non-refundable once products, kits, or access credentials have been provided.

Exceptional circumstances must be submitted in writing to support@islashboutique.com within 10 days of purchase.
If a partial refund is approved, all course materials must be returned at your cost.
Used or expired items may incur deductions.

9. Course Rescheduling

Classroom courses may be rescheduled before the booked date.
Rescheduling within two weeks of the original date incurs a $200 transfer fee.
Once rescheduled, this fee becomes non-refundable, even if you later cancel.

10. Payment Obligations & Collections

By enrolling and selecting a payment plan, you enter a legally binding agreement to complete all payments, regardless of course completion status.

Failure to make payments may result in:

  • Suspension of access to course content

  • Referral to a collections agency

  • Recovery of all collection and legal fees

Islashboutique reserves the right to pursue overdue accounts through lawful collection processes.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
However, change of mind, withdrawal, or non-completion of a course do not qualify for a refund once intellectual property has been released.

12. Agreement to Terms

By making payment — whether in full, by deposit, or via payment plan — you acknowledge and agree to all terms in this Refunds, Returns & Course Policy.
