The short version
- Using this site or buying from us means you accept these Terms and our Refunds, Returns & Course Policy (which includes the 30 Day Learning Guarantee).
- Online courses are self-paced and assessed: a trainer reviews each practical assignment before the next section opens. Access lasts 12 months.
- Nothing here takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If these Terms and the law say different things, the law wins.
- We keep a dated copy of every version. The version published on the day you buy is the one that applies to you.
Questions: support@islashboutique.com
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
This website is run by Islashboutique Group Pty Ltd (“Islashboutique”, “we”, “us”). These Terms apply to everyone who uses the site or buys from us. They work together with our Refunds, Returns & Course Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. Our store runs on Shopify.
We may update these Terms by publishing a new version here.
2. Using the site
You must be an adult in your state or territory, or have a parent or guardian’s consent. You must not use the site for anything unlawful, upload malicious code, scrape or crawl the site, collect other people’s personal information, or harass, abuse or defame anyone. We may refuse service or end your access if you breach these Terms.
3. Information on the site
We take care to keep information accurate and current. If you spot an error, tell us. Historical information is for reference only. This section does not reduce our obligation under the Australian Consumer Law not to mislead you.
4. Prices, discounts and orders
- Prices may change without notice. A product bought at one price is not refunded if it is later sold for less.
- Discounts. Where a discounted price is offered, the condition for it (for example, first-time Islashboutique students) is shown beside the price. A discount never reduces a refund you are entitled to.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, or limit quantities, and will tell you if we do. If we cancel an order because of a pricing or listing error, you receive a full refund.
- You agree to give us accurate contact and billing details.
5. Products
Some products are only available online and may be limited in quantity. We show colours and images as accurately as we can, but screens vary. We may stop selling any product at any time.
6. Third-party tools and links
We may give you access to third-party tools or link to third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Things you send us
If you send us ideas, comments or materials, we may use them without payment. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes someone’s rights. Do not impersonate anyone or use a false email address.
8. Privacy
Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
9. Warranties and liability
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these Terms excludes or limits them.
To the extent the law allows, we do not promise the site or Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend or withdraw it. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a breach of a guarantee, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying for its resupply, or replacing or repairing the goods or paying for that, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit.
10. Your responsibility to us
If your breach of these Terms or of the law causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.
11. If part of these Terms is invalid
The rest still applies.
12. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the site at any time. We can end your access if you breach these Terms; you remain liable for amounts already due. Ending access does not remove any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Whole agreement and law
These Terms and our published policies are the whole agreement between us for your use of the site. Australian law applies, in Australian courts. If we don’t enforce a term on one occasion, we can still enforce it later.
14. Contact
support@islashboutique.com · Islashboutique Group Pty Ltd, 18/52 Hawkins Crescent, Bundamba QLD 4304
15. SMS messages
Our text messages are sent through Klaviyo. If you opt in, you will receive order updates, account alerts and marketing by SMS. Message frequency varies and your carrier’s rates may apply. Opting in to marketing SMS is never a condition of buying from us. Reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link in any message to opt out; you will get one confirmation message. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
16. Online courses: access and pace
- Self-paced. No scheduled classes, set study days or deadlines within your access period.
- Assessed. Self-paced does not mean unassessed. A trainer reviews each practical assignment within 24–48 business hours before the next section opens. To certify you must complete every assessed assignment, including live-model assessments.
- 12 months. Access runs for 12 months from the day your login is issued. Ask before it expires if you need longer; extensions are at our discretion.
- Your login is yours alone. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Fees, refunds and the 30 Day Learning Guarantee are in our Refunds, Returns & Course Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
17. Student conduct
We keep a safe and respectful environment for our staff, trainers and students.
What we ask. Treat our staff, trainers and other students with respect in every channel: phone, text, email, social media and video.
What is not acceptable. (a) Abuse, harassment, intimidation or threats towards any staff member, trainer or student. (b) Profane, offensive or threatening language towards our team. (c) Contact that is unreasonable in volume or manner and stops us serving other students. (d) Statements about services provided, access granted or support received that you know are false. (e) Conduct that makes the environment unsafe or hostile for staff or other students.
What is always acceptable. Making a complaint, disputing a decision, asking for a refund, or contacting a consumer protection agency. None of these is a breach of these Terms.
What happens if conduct is unacceptable. We will give a written warning first unless the conduct is serious. If it continues, we may suspend or end your enrolment by written notice that states the reason.
Payments after termination for conduct. Future scheduled payments stop from the termination date. Payments already made are not refunded for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
Records. We keep records of interactions, including call recordings, messages and emails, and may rely on them in any dispute.
18. Finance providers
If you buy through a third-party finance provider, your finance agreement is with them. If they have paid us and you cancel for a reason that is not our fault, any merchant cancellation fee they actually charge us may be passed on to you. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
